WATER SOLUTIONS FOR CULTIVATION AND BEYOND

We’re here to provide water storage solutions for the cultivation industry that aligns with state requirements.

Our chemical and contaminate free water systems are designed to your needs with cost-efficient capacities approved for drinking water, irrigation and fire protection.

WATER FOR CULTIVATION

The California Water Board considers water diversion, storage and water use for permitting and licensing requirements. Our water systems focus on sustainability to eliminate a negative impact on the natural habitat with the diversion of water from rainwater harvesting to well water. This includes designing systems based on the needs of the land as well as the applications that the water will be used for.

PERMITTING: Cultivators are required to enroll in their state water board’s regulatory programs with conditions on water use for their license to grow.

WATER SYSTEMS: Water storage systems are designed for sustainability to the end user’s needs within the state requirements for irrigation, drinking water, and fire protection.

WATER REQUIREMENTS: We help with requirements that are based on the state for water quality, water source, wastewater, fire protection and more.

WATER RIGHTS: Guidelines for diversion and water use for cultivation, as required by the state water board.

Rainwater Collection

Rainwater collection for cannabis doesn’t require a water rights permit. You just need a system that can handle the cultivation production that you are applying for.

DETERMINING WATER NEEDS

In order to obtain a commercial marijuana license, you must meet Regional Water Board and local fire protection requirements.

WE CAN HELP WITH PERMITTING

Water storage structures may require permits from local agencies. For example, a permit is required from the Building Inspection Division for any water storage structure with a capacity of 5,000 gallons or more.

A Conditional Use Permit may also be required from the Current Planning Division for general agriculture or cannabis cultivation uses if the storage tank exceeds 50,000 gallons.

Affordable Fire Protection

The majority of cannabis cultivation is located in remote areas where access to municipal water is in short supply. Water for fire emergencies and irrigation are typically necessary to stay in compliance, save on insurance rates, and control liability.

We offer fire water storage options that are economical, practical, and readily available. Whether you are in need of bulk water storage or clean rainwater storage, we can provide the fire suppression tank to meet your needs.

Our fire protection water storage systems include engineering packages. Optional local engineer wet-stamped cover letter by the project can also be included.

A Fire & Life Safety Inspection is required, prior to starting an operation, even if no improvements to the property are being proposed. If more water is needed in case of fire emergencies, the water source must have the necessary firefighting adapter and nozzles.
